Status Report on the Massive Flooding in Nepal and Announcement of a Crowdfunding Campaign

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the massive flooding in Nepal. We would like to provide the following update regarding the current status of ASHA personnel and our future response.

• Status of Japanese Team Members:

  The team was traveling in Nepal from August 22 to 27. We have confirmed that all members are safe, and they are currently on their way back.

• Status of Nepalese ASHA Personnel:

  No damage has been reported among ASHA personnel at this time.

  
  

As this is immediately following the disaster, specific on-site needs have not yet been determined. We will continue to monitor the situation closely to assess these needs and will promptly provide assistance as soon as details become clear.

Accordingly, we have decided to launch an emergency crowdfunding campaign to enable swift relief and recovery efforts on the ground. We will announce the intended use of the funds and specific project details on this website and via social media as soon as they are finalized.

Although conditions remain severe, we sincerely ask for your warm support and cooperation so that we can deliver aid that truly meets the needs of the local community.

We will continue to do our utmost to ensure safety on the ground and gather information.
