ASHA Received the “65th Social Contribution Award” and Attended the Award Ceremony

ASHA, a Certified NPO, received the “65th Social Contribution Award” presented by the Social Contribution Support Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation.

Yoshifumi Nin, ASHA’s representative director, attended the awards ceremony held on July 27, 2026, at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo.

◼️ About the Social Contribution Awards

The “Social Contribution Awards” is an award program that has been held since 1971 to honor individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions in various fields of society but have had few opportunities to receive public recognition. To date, a total of 12,858 recipients have been honored.

◼️ Background of the Award and Future Plans

This award recognizes ASHA’s ongoing medical support activities in Nepal.

In addition, as part of this award, we received a supplementary prize of 1 million yen from The Nippon Foundation. We will put this prize money to good use to support our organization’s future activities.
