  • Background of the Application and Future Outlook

Background of the Application

Our organization has been supporting the development of a self-sustaining local healthcare delivery system in Nepal. With the expansion of local needs and the rapid increase in pro bono members, the scope of our activities has grown. In the previous year, we conducted an “organizational assessment” to further promote the strengthening of our organizational foundation. As a result, we clarified our organizational identity as a social contribution platform driven by professional pro bono members and were able to redefine our core mission.

However, to realize this vision, we found that we lacked both the infrastructure necessary for pro bono members to fully utilize their expertise, and the systems to allow them to contribute safely and efficiently. Additionally, diverse financial resources are required to support a broad range of activities. For these reasons, we decided to apply for a continued grant.

Future Outlook

We aim to establish a stable and sustainable financial and human resource foundation that enables continuous organizational activity. At the same time, we seek to develop a new operational model for NPOs centered around pro bono members and contribute to revitalizing the social sector.

In pursuit of our purpose—“Basic Health Rights for All:

Create a world where everyone can live healthy and stay healthy.”—we will continue addressing healthcare challenges in Nepal.
